Initial Meeting

Site Visit

Thank you for considering Candler Construction for your project! We’re excited to meet with you and get a sense for what you are looking to create. The first thing we’ll do is schedule a time to come meet with you at the site of your project - whether you are already living there or it is a future home for you to move into after the work is finished.

What We’ll Discuss

We’ll want to walk the space, understand any contributing factors such as exterior limitations, foundation, roof, etc. We’ll ask you for initial plans (if you have them), designer direction (if applicable) and your planned budget. If meeting with us is the very first step you’ve taken in your project and you don’t have any other pieces in place, no problem! We have a team we call on to help guide those pieces when you are ready.

Once we’ve gotten a sense for the project scope and your expectations on finishes, we’ll walk through what it’s like to work with us. Things such as when to expect a proposed job budget, how to secure our services, how our project management is structured and how billing works for your entire project.

In short, you should be prepared to discuss general design direction and budget expectations. We’re here to answer any and all questions and guide you with transparency.
